'Ia'Winde' is the debut offering from IL'ITHIL; a manifestation of cold, clandestine black metal of the highest order. Recorded in dead of Winter in 2012 and only now rising to the surface, 'Ia'Winde' masterfully binds etheric black metal and and empyrean dark ambiance to form a looming auditory landscape. With an atmosphere equally as potent as closely-linked projects Wolvserpent and Aelter, the sole architect of IL'ITHIL has summoned the harshest storms of winter and meditated upon them in aural form to create his fiercest and most harrowing work to date.

Recorded in the heart of winter of 2012-2013 by Il'ithil.

Mastered by Mell Dettmer in 2014.

I love Algleymi very much but there’s one area in which this is superior: production, especially the drums. Otherwise they’re two quite different records, but both are black metal classics as far as I’m concerned. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long to hear more. Metallurgical Fire
